Our goal is to Inform, Inspire, and Ignite creativity in the youth, teens and young adults through hands-on in-action learning.

The DALC focuses on providing knowledge and developing self-determination for exploring avenues in media arts & the entertainment industry.

Who are we?

We are a Creative Agency focused on self-directed education (SDE) content creation, artist development, and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Curated by me, Lou Hollis. I’ve worked with youth by facilitating, creating and hosting youth programs for over 20 years. My passion lies in the Arts & creating space for young people.

What to Expect?

Every DALC learner has access to the Facilitator/Parent, who will act as assistants to facilitate and aid with each course & each project.

DALC is a homeschool learning community where you can build on your interest and skill sets all while being supported with our facilitators and tutors.

Once learners join our virtual Dreamers Agile Learning Collective space, they will be provided with access and opportunity of group courses, apprenticeship, mentorship,entrepreneurial opportunities, work-study, workshops, SDE*, self-directed project led learning pods, tech devices, travel, location independent entrepreneurial partnerships, mental health practitioners and educational information that will support them through their self-directed learning journey.

Dreamers Agile Learning Collective/DALC

We are a form of community support; walking with you through our courses, workshops and Dreamers Community Re-Imagine Labs as you set goals, plan, conspire, start businesses and dream big.

  • Learners attend virtually. 
  • Twice weekly to engage in selected a la carte courses.
  • Tuesday’s & Thursday’s @
  • 11am – 7pm EST

  • We RECOMMEND teen learners begin with courses like Career Exploration and Discovery Zone.
  • Learners will gain the most from our Collective offerings by starting with RECOMMENDED coursers to support scholars on the journey to creative artistry.
  • RECOMMENDED course meet twice weekly on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s.
  • Projects are ongoing individual and/or group projects which will include several meetings, selected set dates by the group, group chat through platforms like WhatsApp and/or Google Drive to carry on the conversation and time after/during to edit and finish the project before the proposed LHTM Production date. 
  • We provide in-person live engagement opportunities to utilize a simulated set production to immerse the learners in an interactive set environment allowing them to put into practice, use of the information, training, skill and talent from the Dreamers Agile Learning Collective.
  • For learners unable to meet in-person, there are post-production opportunities for learners to engage in hands-on interaction through technology using internship, apprenticeship & entrepreneurial opportunities to produce a  finished product.

ACCESS & OPPORTUNITIES

Learners engage in courses of their selection.

  • Dreamers In-Action attend ongoing workshops to advance their creative interests.
  • All learners have access to fellowship, hold space, be seen and heard, play, experiment, and explore new skills.
  • LHTM projects include paid independent entrepreneurial partnership opportunities. 
  • LHTM Productions projects include hands-on, in-action learning, utilizing positions available in technology, media, marketing, and advertisement.

LHTM PRODUCTIONS

Some of our members have a special focus on the entertainment industry, and we nurture those interests with projects that move from pre-production, production, post production, and on to the finished products.

With over 25 years managing, producing, spearheading and leading youth outreach programs, we support students and creatives in learning to finesse their talents in tech, media arts and entertainment.

 We’ve worked in the entertainment/advertisement industry with clients like Paramount, Nike, Old Navy,  Dick’s,  American Greetings, Kellogg’s, McDonald’s and the like.
